  • New Material Development Department established and development of CUTTING SHEET® begins.

  • Began marketing CUTTING SHEET®, a color material that replaces paint.

    (With the approval of Mr. Masaru Katsumi, the company invited Mr. Katsumi as the chairman of the jury.)

  • Koshinkan Dojo was established.

  • First issue of "Alchemy" published.
  • The 4th CS Design Award was held (thereafter, it became a biennale).
  • Increased the number of colors of CUTTING SHEET® to 100 by requesting Ikko Tanaka to select the colors

  • First issue of "Man and Symbol" published.
1989 Heisei first year
  • Fukuoka Sales Office established
  • Began development of NOCS2500 in collaboration with Japan Color Research Institute
1990/Heisei 2
  • Increased the number of CUTTING SHEET® colors to 200.
  • Sapporo Sales Office established.
1995/Heisei 7
  • Launched NOCS.
1998 / Heisei 10
  • The 10th CS Design Award held. Student section added.
2000 / Heisei 12
  • Windy Collection" was launched.
2001 / Heisei 13
  • Tokyo warehouse relocated from Kinshicho to Matsumoto, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo.
  • Launch of "Super MATERIO
2002 / April 1, 2002
  • Head office relocated. To present.
  • Received a request from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries for cooperation in the preparation of the Landscape Environment Guidance Document,
    Completion and release of "Colors of Village and Town," an environmental guidance document based on NOCS2500.
  • Added 222 rural landscape colors to NOCS, bringing the total to 518 colors.
  • The 12th CS Design Award was held. The student category became independent and became the CS Design Student Award.
