In addition to developing new materials that enable richer and more delicate expression and products based on correct color planning, we have also established the "CS Design Award" as an educational activity to promote the beauty of the city and good design, thereby playing a role in the development of signage and design. History

Founded on November 11, 1936 as ”Nakagawado", the predecessor of Nakagawa Chemical.
After World War II, the company expanded its business, focusing primarily on interior and exterior finishing work for department stores.
In 1961, development of CUTTING SHEET® began.
In 1975, Nakagawa Chemical Inc. was established as an independent company, separated from Nakagawado Co., Ltd.
