"The 25th CS Design Award" has launched "
Anytime Preliminary Registration" for the General Category!
The CS Design Awards are held biennially, and we accept submissions for both the General and Student categories simultaneously.
In the General Category, which accepts applications for completed projects, the eligibility period spans two years. Have you ever regretted missing the submission deadline without even realizing it? In response to feedback from participants like you, we have introduced the “Anytime Preliminary Registration” system, which allows you to register in advance before the official submission period begins
. *Please note that
the Student Category is not eligible for “Anytime Preliminary Registration.”
It is a design award that explores the potential of “CUTTING SHEET®”—a decorative film—and honors outstanding works that make the most of its unique properties. Since the first CS Design Award in 1982, we have received the support of many designers and architects.We hope that this award will help creators use CUTTING SHEET® as a foundation to create richer spaces and environments.

◼️ Eligible Entries
Eligible works must use CUTTING SHEET® or similar decorative films (not limited to Nakagawa Chemical products) and must have been actually applied between April 1, 2026
, and March 31, 2028

(Examples: Building facades, exteriors, interiors, windows, retail spaces, event displays, temporary fencing, signage, advertisements, vehicles, aircraft, and ships, monuments, art, etc.)

[Preliminary Registration Period] Tuesday, October 13, 2026 – Tuesday, November 30, 2027
STEP 1:
Entry
Please register your name and email address on the official award website to enter.

STEP 2: Submit the Entry Form
Once you have entered, you will be issued an “Entry Number” and a “Password.” Please download the entry form
from your My Page, fill in the required information, and submit it.
STEP 3: Submit
Images and Videos of Your Work
. You may submit up to 10 images per entry and one video per entry.
STEP 4: Review the Application Guidelines and Complete Your Submission (December 1, 2027, or later)
On or after December 1, 2027,
we will send a submission confirmation email to
the email address you provided.
*Please note that your submission will be canceled if we cannot confirm your consent.
*Please double-check the information you submitted (entry form, images, and videos). If your entry wins an award, it will be featured in the anthology and various media outlets.
