When you
install functional window film…
- 1Block the summer sun for a more comfortable ride!
- Reduces sunlight from outside!Reduces it by approximately 51%*1Reduces perceived temperature by 3–5°CBy applying heat-shielding window film to your windows, the film absorbs or reflects sunlight, reducing the amount of solar radiation that passes through the windows and enters the room. This helps prevent indoor temperatures from rising and improves the efficiency of your air conditioning system.*1: Solar reflectance when SC-755 is applied to 3mm float glass

- 2Shatter-Resistant Effect
- In the event of a disaster, broken glass poses risks such as injuries from shards and blocked exits. Applying Safety Control prevents glass from shattering, making it an effective disaster prevention measure.

- 399% UV Blocking
- All Safety Control products block 99% of UV rays! They prevent sun damage and fading of indoor walls and floors, reduce skin damage, and are effective at maintaining a comfortable indoor environment.

- Balanced type with 65–72% light transmittance
- Want to reduce glare?
If you want to reduce glare from sunlight while also blocking solar radiation
, we recommend
the half-mirror
color/smoke type! - Don’t want to compromise the glass’s transparency!
For those who want to
maintain a clear view, we recommend our high-transparency films!- Recommended!
- 83–86% light transmittance for a clear view
- Looking for winter insulation too?
For those looking for a
film that’s effective against both summer heat and winter cold, we recommend the SC-850, which offers both
heat-blocking and insulation properties.- Recommended!
- For those who want to stay comfortable in both summer and winter!
- Want to apply it to an outdoor glass surface?
If you want to apply the film from the outside, you can choose
from two typesof products designed for exterior use.
Cool in summer, warm in winter.
Stay comfortable year-round with heat-shielding and insulation effects.
"SC-850 (Thermo ZC)" combines "heat-shielding effects" that suppress external solar radiation with "thermal insulation effects" that prevent indoor heat from escaping. It improves air conditioning efficiency even during the summer heat and winter cold, allowing you to stay comfortable all year round.

- Exterior application… ◎ = Approximately 3–5 years
- Shatter resistance… ◯ = Reduces glass shattering ◎ = Meets the shatter resistance requirements of JIS A5759
- Measurements were taken with film applied to transparent float glass (3 mm thick). *Measurement methods are based on JIS A5759.
- Thermal transmittance… An indicator of how easily heat escapes due to the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors. It represents the amount of heat that escapes per square meter per hour when there is a 1°C temperature difference. The lower the value, the higher the insulation effect, and the more effective it is at preventing heating energy from escaping.
- Solar Shading Coefficient: An indicator of the effectiveness in blocking sunlight. It is a relative value of the solar heat gain coefficient, with that of 3 mm thick clear float glass set as 1. The lower the value, the higher the heat-blocking effect, which helps reduce the cooling load.

Key Points for Choosing a
Heat-Blocking Film!
Heat-Blocking Film!
\ Which one are you!? /
"Prioritize heat-shielding effect" or "Prioritize transparency"
Heat-blocking effect refers to the function that reduces the rise in indoor temperature caused by sunlight, especially during the summer. By blocking heat rays, it improves air conditioning efficiency. Since these films use color or metal coatings to reduce solar radiation, highly effective films generally have lower light transmittance. Depending on where you plan to install the film, decide whether to "prioritize heat-blocking effect" or "prioritize transparency."
Additionally, by considering other features—such as whether the film has a hard coat or if it can be applied to exterior surfaces—you can select the optimal film for your needs.
