BANGUARD is a clear, colorless retrofit safety sleeve that installs over existing fluorescent lamps, converting them into shatter-resistant lamps. Four series are available according to function and application.

Basic Type
BANGUARD

BANGUARD is made of highly transparent and tough polycarbonate. Simply install it over your existing fluorescent lamp to help prevent shattering accidents. Secured with silicone end caps on both ends, it offers excellent impact resistance and reliable shatter containment, helping prevent glass scattering even in the event of a fall. It is ideal for HACCP compliance and earthquake preparedness in lighting fixtures.

Effective in preventing insects
BANGUARD Orange

BANGUARD Orange not only prevents glass scattering, but is also more effective in preventing insects than BANGUARD. Effective for flying insect control at entrances and loading dock areas. It can be used as a safety light in places where photosensitive materials with sensitivity to wavelengths below 500 nm are handled, such as printing factories, clean rooms, semiconductor and IC factories.

UV Transmitting Type for Insect Catchers
BANGUARD BL type

This is a shatter resistance item that can be placed over an insect trapping lamp. Since it transmits ultraviolet rays, it can provide a strong shatter resistance effect while maintaining the performance of the insect traps. It also has high heat resistance and chemical resistance, and can be used repeatedly. This UV-transmitting BANGUARD makes it possible to prevent shatter resistance of insect traps lamps, which has been a problem for many food-related facilities.
